He helped me through the process of learning how much I'd need to save for a down payment, credit score, and paperwork needed in order to fit my future payment into my budget. We were upside down with respect to the value of our home. Tom never gave up, however. He kept in touch, watched home values, and worked with us until our home value, credit portfolio, etc., were aligned to enable us to work out a much more advantageous deal. We were able to pay off a second… mortgage with a high interest rate and another account. Our new payment, which includes the property taxes, is lower than the old payments.
