Fred began his career with American Pacific Mortgage (APM) in 2008 where he served as a Branch Manager for American Family Funding, an APM Enterprise branch. He led not only the day-to-day operations of the branch, but also the Credit Union and Reverse Mortgage Divisions. In Fred’s current position as Vice President of Enterprise Production, Fred oversees and drives production strategy for all of the Enterprise Branches for American Pacific Mortgage, including managing origination, processing, member care, credit union and financial portfolio reviews.
With over 30 years of experience in operations and customer service, he trains loan officers and credit unions in customer service and sales skills
Additionally, Fred is currently a Past President of NAMB, The Association of Mortgage Professionals and an active member of and former President of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (CAMP). He is the recipient of the NAMB’s Mortgage Professional of the Year Award and CAMP’s Associate of the Year Award. As an advocate for the mortgage industry, Fred regularly speaks at the Federal and State levels for government affairs on the current state of mortgage lending, other mortgage professionals, and credit unions. Along with frequently writing articles on industry issues, he has been called to testify in front of the California State Legislature and the US Congressional House Financial Services Committee.
Fred is very involved in the community, having served on the Board of Directors for the MS Golf Classic for the National MS Society and annually volunteers for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. He also had served on the governing board of VIA (Valley Industry Association), which represents business interests throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, providing members the opportunity to network and collaborate on a broad range of business issues.
Fred received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Organizational Systems Management from California State University, Northridge.
