Tara Cerulle has been with American Family Funding since November, 2001. Starting as a Loan Processor, she learned all about the details of a loan file and how to interpret the information that goes into the approval and closing of a loan.
In 2003, Tara obtained her Real Estate License with the State of California and began originating loans for her own clientele. She continues to oversee the processing department to ensure compliance and completeness on every file, as well as training the processing team to ensure efficiency. “Our lenders have told me time and time again that their underwriters get excited to see submissions from American Family Funding, as they know their underwriting job will be less challenging due to the details we pay attention to when we interview our borrowers and put our files together”, Tara says. Tara continues to build and strengthen her business originating loans efficiently because she knows exactly what to ask and how to approach the various borrowers’ situations having had the background of processing and underwriting. She is depended on by so many, whether it is her borrowers, the American Family Funding staff or her family. She is ready and willing to be there to support those that need her. Tara has been married to her husband, Nick, since 1994 and they have two sons, Caden (10) and Drew (4). As a family, they enjoy the off-road racing world, camping in the desert and in the sand dunes, and riding their quads and Polaris Ranger. Her favorite place to be is on the beaches of Jamaica, where she and Nick vacationed in 2006. They look forward to a family trip there in the upcoming year. |
